Photographer’s Eulogy
Tamara

Swing empty.
Slide beams, ghost images created.
Sand sifted, laughter aroused,
choosing to play alone.
Childhood forever.

Bullet released.
crimson wall, background set askew.
Trigger happy, shot fired,
no blood stained hands.
Death recorded.

Hearth setting,
embers glow, ambiance of room.
Family gathered, image related,
no seat amongst the group.
Generations captured.

Love abound,
simple church, H-format being used.
Invitation worthy, wedding party,
sides neither bride nor groom.
Vows remembered.

Coffin open,
photographer’s face, aperture now closed.
Camera idle, lenses covered,
no more of the future’s past.
images extinguished.
